Flo

Flo...

My favorite way to paint is without a plan.
I prefer to allow my soul to seep through my fingertips, into the brush and inevitably, onto the canvas.
A piece of me is forever frozen in time.
This is how "Flo" was created and it what she represents.
She exemplifies the most feminine parts of my being.
She is surrounded by (my favorite color) red, representing passions that run deep.
Her body is surrounded by, first, a cool blue, signifying my placid, cool demeanor.
The white outlining her is symbolic of my honest, kind nature.
Flo's hair is crazy, and suggestive of my quirky side
it is a plethora of colors... Each one representing another facet of my personality.
Her frame is curvacious, and womanly. And I am the quintessential woman,
even with my protective shell... the darker colors used for her body are significant in that aspect. They make her appear strong, unbreakable. That may not be the case...but she does a good job portraying it. As do I.
Her stance is free, happy, serene... and that is how I feel in my euphoric states.
She holds her hands up to the sky, as if to take this wonderful life in as long as she is here.
She has striking eyes, there is a mystery behind them yet to be discovered.
Anyone who appreciates the true beauty of a woman should take a second look at this one.
She is more than meets the eye.
